Karaoke and Computers

A couple weeks ago I took pictures at Karaoke Underground, a karaoke night catering to an audience with an interest in unique karaoke tunes.



It was really neat hearing songs by bands like the Pixies or Ted Leo & the Pharmacists.





Last Monday I took pictures of the Ranger supercomputing system at the Pickle Research Campus.



Super computers are pretty cool.

Pinetop Perkins

A couple weeks ago I took pictures at Pinetop Perkin's 95th birthday.


Pinetop is an old blues musician and the oldest person to win a grammy.

He seemed to play pretty well for someone who is 95.

Kitten, age 1 week

These pictures are of a kitten that my family has been taking care of for a few weeks now. The kitten will be going home to a new, permanent owner tomorrow, so I am posting pictures of what the kitten looked like when we first got it.






The kitten was about as long as a pencil.
